I wish to remind all Federations of the clarification, set forth in my announcement (December 14, 2008) of the holding of the Congress in San Marino, that "For the sake of clarity, it should be understood that, in the event the Congress approves the proposed modifications of the Statutes (and related By-Laws) reducing the number of Executive Committee Members from 11 to 7, any nominations for the 3rd Vice President position will be deemed void and ignored and all nominations for the 5 Members at Large will be consolidated and be considered nominations for the 2 Member at Large positions."

For your information, a full set of the modified Statutes and related Election By-Laws, proposed by the CEB EC to be adopted by the San Marino Congress, will be provided to each Member Federation not later than February 15, 2009 for your review and consideration.

I look forward to seeing all of you at the Congress.

Sincerely yours,

Sam Pelter
